Use the moon to influence gravity-based game-play that affects the very waves as you use these to avoid underwater and surface obstacles to help Cthulhu escape.

The main campaign follows the adventure of Cthulhu, who stole the moon due to his need for a source of awesome gravitational power to control waves on his own planet in his own galaxy. He finds himself trapped on Earth while he attempts to escape from the Earth and Space Defense Association (ESDA) and other enemies in his path. The only way is to grab the nearest sea vessel and sail.

The endless runner mode allows players to control Cthulhu as they challenge personal and competitive distance records among others playing the game. This also facilitates harvesting coins for upgrades for use in the game.

Lunarsea™ started out as a Game Jam game at the DU Arcade, hosted by the University of Denver Game Developers' society.
